International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing China (Expo 2019 Beijing) accredited by AIPH and recognized by BIE is an A1-category international horticultural exhibition hosted by the Chinese Government and organized by Beijing Municipal Government and to be held from April 29th to October 7th 2019 in Yanqing District of Beijing, during which more than 100 official participants take part in exhibition and the expected number of visitors shall amount to 16 million.
For the purpose of presenting a grand horticultural event with wide varieties and promoting the exchanges of international floriculture and the development of flower industry, China Flower Association and the Executive Committee of Expo 2019 Beijing will jointly host 2019 World Flower Art Contest. As one of the paramount international competitions for Expo 2019 Beijing, the competition shall be held from August 18 to 27 in 2019 by which time eminent florists from around the globe will be invited to compete and each country or region may designate one contestant to participate (Attachment). The competition will be judged by internationally authoritative judging committee to ensure fairness and justice.
The competition sets no limits to the regions or associations of participants and remains an authentic Olympics of floriculture. It is bound to be the premiere international flora competition of such large scale and high level organized in A1-category international horticultural exhibition, which shall greatly promote the intercourse of international horticulture-related information, manifest the rapid achievements of floral industry and uplift the international role and competitiveness of flower industry.
